Preparing to use hospitals and public health centers in Suwon
Source checked ·
Suwon's living guide lists public health centers in Jangan, Gwonseon, Paldal and Yeongtong, plus hospitals and emergency rooms. It describes public health centers as a source of health information and public services such as maternal and infant health programs. First confirm that the service you need is available.
Public health center contacts printed in the 2026 guide: Jangan 031-5191-0119; Gwonseon 031-5191-0318; Paldal 031-5191-0518; Yeongtong 031-5191-0718.
Suggested preparation: write down what you want to ask, your preferred date and language. Ask reception: “Is this service available here?”, “Do I need an appointment?”, “What should I bring for identity and insurance checks?”, and “Can you confirm costs and interpreting support?” Check the relevant department, reception arrangements and current emergency-room availability directly with the hospital.
The guide lists hospital interpreting/translation support at the Suwon Migrant Community Service Center. Call 031-223-0075 to confirm eligibility, language, date and booking availability. This does not mean interpreting or free treatment is available for every visit.
